Life is very busy just now for Mr Mc and myself. Having returned home from France on Wednesday, Friday saw us travelling to a ‘Wigwam’ glamping weekend and meeting up with my brother, sister and their partners at Humble Bee Farm, Flixton, Scarborough.
This is our Christmas present from my brother Andrew and sister-in-law Carolyn. click here for link
Here is Mr Mc outside our home for the next two nights and photos of the interior.
My brother and his wife arrived the same time as we did but my sister and her partner got lost following their sat nav which kept directing them through local villages. So while we waited for them to arrive we enjoyed a relaxing drink and the boys get the BBQ started.
After a cosy nights sleep in our pods, followed by breakfast we drove into Scarborough.

There is so much to see and do here and as the day progressed the sun came out.
There are two sandy bays at Scarborough, North and South and a lovely flat promenade to walk between the two.
Of course no visit to the seaside is complete without fish and chips. Where better to visit than ‘Winking Willies’ where you can savour your meal and enjoy the view.
Back to our pods for our last night together and to enjoy another BBQ and a few drinks.
Another cosy nights sleep and our weekend is over. Did we enjoy ourselves? Yes, we had a fabulous time. The only missing ingredients were Andrew and Carolyn to make this complete.
with love – Jill (and Mr Mc) x
