When you go out shopping have you seen someone who just looks expensive?
It may not be because they wear designer labels, but just the way they hold themselves with confidence. I thought I would try to put some tips together on how to look expensive on a budget.
- Trousers – If your clothes fit perfectly you can instantly look expensive. It is easy to match a basic pair of trousers with a blouse or jumper. Trousers can be slimming, flattering and so comfortable, making them an easy to go to option.
- Tops – Our weather is so unpredictable a nice jumper is essential for the colder months or a top for the milder weather. These can make an outfit look very expensive if paired with the right accessories and trousers or skirt. Matching a scarf is something i like to do as this can draw the colour out of an item.
- Jewellery – Don’t be afraid to add a statement piece of jewellery when wearing a simple outfit. If you want to draw attention to your face and neck wearing a short bold necklace will do the trick. Wearing a longer necklace will lengthen the neck making you appear taller.
- Classic Bag – either over the shoulder or holding, this will help create an elegant look.
- Perfume – This is a simple and easy way to feel expensive.
You are now on your way to looking and feeling like a million dollars.
I hope you have found these tips helpful. Please let me know of any topics you would like to see more of.
